Where Delta Heat fits

Delta Heat sits below Twin Eagles in price and features. The idea is to bring the same manufacturer's stainless construction and engineering to a more affordable grill. You'll find Delta Heat built-in grill heads, carts, side burners and outdoor kitchen components, and the grills are a common pick for new islands and replacements.

Because Delta Heat grills share a parent with Twin Eagles, they tend to be well built, and repairs are usually about normal wear and maintenance rather than design flaws.

What we see on Delta Heat grills

  • Ignition issues. Burners that click but don't light, or one burner that stopped sparking. Common causes are a grease-crusted electrode, a cracked ceramic insulator, a loose wire or a power problem. See grill won't light.
  • Grease buildup. Heat distribution parts and the drip tray loaded with fat, leading to smoke and flare-ups.
  • Uneven heat. Blocked burner ports or spiders in the venturis. See uneven heat and hot spots.
  • Sear and rotisserie burners. On models equipped with infrared burners, water damage is the usual culprit.
  • Lighting and knobs. Lit controls that go out on models that have them.

How we clean a Delta Heat

We remove the grates and heat distribution parts, take out each burner and clear the ports, and scrape and degrease the firebox with a biodegradable cleaner. The grease tray and drip path get cleaned so they drain where they should. Ignition and flame are tested on every burner before reassembly, and the stainless is finished with the grain. Drop cloths go down first, and all grease and rinse water leave with us. If you want the rest of the island cleaned too, our outdoor kitchen service covers side burners, doors and drawers.

Parts and replacement

Parts for Delta Heat generally come through the manufacturer and its dealers and are reasonably available for current and recent models. Have the model and serial number handy if you can; the rating label is usually inside the grill, visible with the drip tray removed, or under the front panel. If you're shopping for a built-in grill, Delta Heat is one of the options we can supply and install. Our choosing a built-in grill guide compares it with other brands at different price points.

On the stainless side, Delta Heat grills respond well to regular care. A wipe with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner, following the grain, keeps the finish looking right. Our stainless steel care guide has the details, including what to avoid.
