A city of many neighborhoods
Pomona is one of the oldest and largest cities in the eastern valley, and its housing reflects that. Lincoln Park and the other historic districts have Victorians, Craftsman homes and bungalows from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Phillips Ranch, in the hills to the southwest, is a master-planned community from the 1970s and 80s with HOA neighborhoods and homes stepping up the slopes. In between are mid-century tracts, apartment complexes and newer developments.
The grills match. Historic-district homes tend to have freestanding grills or a newer island added to an old yard. Phillips Ranch has built-ins in terraced backyards, plus community pool grills. Apartments often have shared grills in a courtyard.
Wherever the grill is, our techs carry common parts for the brands we see most, so a lot of repairs are finished on the first visit instead of the second.
Pomona neighborhoods and what we see
Historic districts
Freestanding grills and smokers in older yards, sometimes on long or improvised gas lines. We check the supply as well as the grill.

Learn moreCommercial grills
Pomona has a busy commercial side: restaurants downtown and along the main corridors, event venues, and the Fairplex, which hosts large events throughout the year. Restaurant and event grills see far more use than any backyard grill and need cleaning on a schedule, not when someone finally notices a flare-up.
We clean commercial outdoor grills, charbroilers used at events, and patio grills at restaurants and venues, with grease and wastewater contained and removed. See commercial grill cleaning and our guide to commercial cleaning schedules.
Hot summers, fall winds
Pomona summers routinely push past 100 degrees, and the Santa Ana winds that come through in fall can carry dust and ash. A grill left with grease in the firebox through that heat bakes into a hard layer that blocks the drain path and feeds flare-ups. A cleaning in spring and a quick check after the winds keeps most grills out of trouble. Our summer prep guide covers what to check.
Pomona FAQ
Do you service restaurant grills?
Yes, outdoor and patio grills at restaurants and venues. Ask about a recurring schedule.
Can you replace an old built-in in Phillips Ranch without rebuilding the island?
Usually. We measure the cutout and find a current model that fits. Our guide on measuring a grill cutout explains how.
Do you work in historic homes?
Yes. We're careful with older patios and finishes, and cover everything before we start.
How much does it cost?
That depends on the grill or kitchen, its size and condition. Call or text, or send photos, and we'll quote it.
